ABOUT ME

With more than two decades of experience in both the public and private sectors, I have led regulatory dispute resolution and productive development processes in nearly all regions of Peru.

My training as an economist at Universidad del Pacífico and my Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School have provided me with a deep economic and strategic perspective, while my experience with different state entities and levels — particularly as President of the Specialized Chamber for the Elimination of Bureaucratic Barriers at INDECOPI (since 2018, renewed 2024–2029) — enables me to understand from within how public administration operates and how regulatory decisions affect business competitiveness.

This unique combination allows me to analyze arbitral disputes not only from a legal standpoint but also by evaluating their real economic impact and practical feasibility.

As an independent arbitrator, I prioritize appointments that preserve my complete autonomy and absolute impartiality throughout the entire process, free from hidden commitments or expectations of bias.

My objective is to contribute to sound, equitable, and legitimate awards that resolve disputes efficiently and sustainably.
